You have to admire the signage team behind the Disneyland Paris park. There are so many signs that need to be created, themed and installed. Keeping everyone informed about what is expected from them, who can enter and what to do next.

Occasionally they get it slightly confused. Like this sign below, or above (depending upon how you are looking at it).

The signs is installed on the Disneyland Rail Road. If guests were to follow this sign literally they would have to vault over the fence and plummet to the floor below as this is on the platform level of the Main Street Station!

Just as you enter the queue, come round the first bend, it is just on the left. The circle and ‘ears’ are not attached, so you need to be looking at it straight on the notice it!

Today is a Hidden Mickey spot. On the umbrella, where the spokes reinforced the canopy. There are Hidden Mickey patches stitched in to reinforce the material

Over to the right hand side of the window Dapper dan’s has a mirror installation to give you said transformation.

Stand directly in front of the mirror and a super smilie moustache will be emblazoned upon your bit of face below the nose. And if your not yet 5 foot tall don’t worry there is a lower viewer for everyone to enjoy.

However, today we look at on of the first Hidden Mickey’s you’ll find at Walt Disney Studios. We originally featured this Hidden detail in version one of the site, but are using our guest photographers images instead this time.

Cast your eyes up towards the stained glass surrounding the entrance gates. The glass shows a search light style design. The frame work is made up out of a spiral and scroll design.

A closer look at the edges will show you a Hidden Mickey pattern alternating around the frame.

That’s right, the back story here is that the owner couldn’t afford to kit out the place with a full set of furniture. So he encouraged all visitors to bring a chair. As a result of this you will notice that there are very few matching sets. The photo below shows a range of styles in one view.

Hidden amongst these pools and forms are some bones of a large reptilian creature. I can only assume that it is dinosaur based.

One theory is that it represents the type of finds that are found in the far west.

I however like to think of it as a nod to California’s Big Thunder Mountain ride, which features a Dino skeleton on the ride.

Today we find Old Joe. Joe has been around since the opening of the park, but he has had a break from his main hobby. Old Joe originally was always fishing. He would sit in his Rocking Chair, eyes closed while he waited for a bite.

Today he is taking a break from Fishing his rod is standing up by the door, while the worms box is simply a foot rest.

It has been said that Old Joe is a copy of an animatronic form the Original Pirates of the Caribbean in Anaheim. I’ll admit I struggled to find the correct pirate, but I think I have found him. Check below.

Eye brows and beard are different, but the face shape is spot on.
