Walt Disney Studios

The entrance gate to Walt Disney Studios, conjures up imagery of the golden age of film. Search lights casting upwards and a iron detailed icon in the centre.

Here you can see that the black icon is Mickey Mouse holding a film camera. Here you have the animation meeting the real cinematography. There is also a hidden Mickey. And this is not the one holding the camera. The circle around the icon forms the head, while the two ears are made from ornate spirals.

Thanks to Sil for the photographs.

There is an even less obvious one here that is very very easily missed, even though there are THOUSANDS of them on the gate. I’ll try and get a picture of them (I know I’ve certainly taken one of it.)

The gold colour search lights on the gate design are made up of tiny mickey heads.
