In the production courtyard section of Walt Disney Studios, is a section called Place des Stars. You may have walked straight over it while being distracted by the production courtyard stage. You will be forgiven!!

One of the hand prints and signatures featured in this place of stars, is Walt’s nephew, Roy E. Disney.

Roy held a fighting role in keeping the animation department open when others wanted to close it’s doors. Sadly Roy passed away in December 2009.

Roy war bekannt durch seine Rolle als starker Kämpfer für die klassische Zeichentrickabteilung innerhalb der Studios, als andere diese schließen wollten. Traurigerweise verstarb Roy im Dezember 2009.
