When Entering Disneyland Park, those is the know look up at the windows on Main Street, U.S.A. The reason we do this is because there are a ton of nods towards recognising the people who helped shape the Disney empire. It is nice to occasionally break from the normal routine. Those that do and look down instead of up on entering Main Street, U.S.A. will find a plaque to Walt’s father.

Elias Disney had several major employments through his life. From working as a farm hand, to working on the railroad. Elias always seemed to do manual work. He was a construction worker for the 1893 World’s Columbian Exposition in Chicago. So I guess you could say that he was a contractor, but what does 1901 have to do with it? Walt Elias Disney was born on 15th December 1901. I know it’s crude and I hope there was more to it than maritial contracts, but could this be what they are meaning by a contractor in 1901?

OR are they referring to Walt ELIAS DISNEY?À entrada do Disneyland Park é normal olhar para as janelas na Main Street U.S.A.. A razão pela qual o fazemos é porque há  imensas menções  a todos os que ajudaram a criar o império Disney. No entanto, por vezes, é bom quebrar a rotina e olhar para baixo. Os que o fazem, à entrada da Main Street U.S.A. irão encontrar uma placa para o pai do Walt.

Elias Disney teve vários empregos ao longo da vida. Desde trabalhador numa quinta, a trabalhar nos caminhos de ferro, Elias sempre pareceu fazer trabalhos manuais. Elias foi um dos construtores que trabalho na World’s Columbian Exposition de 1893 por isso acho mesmo que lhe podemos chamar empreiteiro. Mas no meio disto tudo a que se refere o ano 1901? Walter Elias Disney nasceu no dia 15 de Dezembro de 1901. Pode parecer cruel mas será este o significado de empreiteiro associado ao ano 1901?

Der Grund, warum wir dies tun ist der, dass man dort unzählige Hinweise auf Menschen findet, die geholfen haben, das Disney Imperium zu formen. Aber schauen wir mal woanders hin und gönnen uns eine Pause von dem, was wir sonst tun. Blicken wir nach unten … und was sehen wir da? Ein Schild. Eine Referenz, die auf Walt’s Vater Elias verweist.
