I have to say most of the time I’m all for progress, updating items and moving forward, but at the Disney Store, Disney Village I have an issue.

After yesterdays post I realised that something wasn’t quite right and here is the issue. When the stone work was installed behind the original sign the concept wasn’t in your face Disney characters, but a more subtle Mount Rushmore effect. Look at Donald’s pupils, they are far too dilated. Sometimes the original was the best version, why fix it if it isn’t broke?

Após o post de ontem apercebi-me que algo não estava bem e aqui está o problema. Quando o sinal em pedra foi colocado, as personagens Disney não eram tão evidentes. Pareciam mais o Monte Rushmore. Olha para as pupilas do Donald, estão exageradamente dilatadas. Por vezes o original é o melhor, porquê alterar se nem sequer estava estragado?

Encontrei esta foto em baixo no Photosmagiques.com, que mostrava o sinal original a ser pintado em 2007.
