One of the most curious finds is staring you in the face. I wouldn’t like to guess at how many thousand guests don’t spot this per day.

As I’m writing this and updating with older photographs, the castle is about to get a make over. The roofs are going to be painted blue, instead of blue / green. All of them apart from the 2 roofs with snails on!! Yes you heard me snails on. As an in  joke imagineers have fitted snails climbing up the sides of the tower roofs.

You would be forgiven for not spotting them.

Enquanto este post é criado com fotografias antigas, o castelo está a ser alvo de uma remodelação profunda. Os telhados estão a ser pintados de azul em vez do azul esverdeado. Todos eles, excepto os dois que têm caracóis!! Sim, há caracóis a subir pelos telhados das torres.

Mas sim, serias desculpado se não reparasses neles.

Während dieser Text entsteht, wird das Schloß gerade renoviert. Die Dächer werden wieder blau angemalt, anstelle von grün/blau – bis auf die beiden Dächer mit den Schnecken. Ja, Ihr habt richtig gelesen – bis auf die mit den Schnecken. Als eine Art Insiderwitz und Reminiszenz an Frankreich haben die Imagineers Schnecken angebracht, die die Dächer hinaufklettern.

Es wäre Euch aber verziehen, wenn Ihr sie nicht gleich entdeckt habt.
